Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) President Milan Kwee has been re-elected unopposed for another term in a key role at his country's National Olympic Committee.

Kwee was voted back in as an Executive Board member of the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC).

He has already served in the role for five years and will now stay on for at least another two.

An election took place at the SNOC Annual General Meeting.

During his time at SNOC, Kwee was appointed chairman of the Organising Committee for the Singapore Sports Awards.

He will also serve as Chef de Mission of the Singapore team at next month's South East Asian Games in Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.

In October Kwee, also a member of the World Taekwondo Council, was given honorary citizenship of Seoul because of his work promoting the South Korean martial art worldwide.

"The taekwondo community is proud of his achievements and congratulates him on the re-election which shows that the other sports leaders value his contributions," a STF statement said.
