Hosts Poland were among team event gold medallists on the final day of the International Wheelchair Amputee and Sports Federation (IWAS) Wheelchair Fencing World Cup in Warsaw.

The home quartet of Michal Nalewajek, Jacek Gaworski, Rafal Ziomek and Dariusz Pender combined for men's team foil success at the Polish capital’s Airport Hotel Okęcie in a format which combines players from across different classifications.

They defeated Great Britain's Dimitri Coutya, Oliver Watson-Lam, Joshua Waddell and Piers Gilliver 45-39 in the final.

Russia's Artur Yasupov, Albert Kamalov and Roman Fedyaev took bronze.

Russia enjoyed even better fortunes in the women's team épée competition.

Alena Evokimova, Viktoria Boykova, Iuliia Maya and Ludmila Vasileva took gold with a 45-32 victory in the final over China's team of Xiangxiang Li, Gu Haiyan and Ao Lanzhu.

Circée Peloux, Sandrine Quinola, Cecile Demaude and Sabrina Poignet took bronze for France.
