Paralympic champion Benjamin Daviet of France won his third gold medal on the final day of the World Para Nordic Skiing World Cup in Östersund.

Daviet had previously claimed victory in the standing long distance cross country event and standing sprint biathlon race. 

He triumphed today in the men's standing individual biathlon competition, crossing the line in 40min 16.20sec.

Germany's Alexander Ehler finished in second with a time of 42:51.4, while Norway's Nils-Erik Ulset was in third with 44:25.5.

America's Kendall Gretsch and Daniel Cnossen also added another gold to their respective collections.

Gretsch was victorious in the women's sitting individual biathlon after recording a time of 41:01.3, beating her compatriot Oksana Masters in 42:04.9 and Germany's Andrea Eskau in 43:48.3.

Cnossen won the men's sitting biathlon in 42:49.7, continuing his dominance in World Cup sitting events.

In second was Ukraine's Taras Rad with a time of 43:19.2, while Germany's Martin Fleig finished third in 44:38.3.
