The International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) women's monobob competition in Königssee, Germany, delivered a thrilling climax, with the gold medal ultimately being shared. 

In a thrilling race, Qing Ying of China and Breanna Walker of Australia couldn't be separated at the head of the field. 

They both finished in a time of 1min, 50.73sec. 

Canada's Melissa Lotholz, a 2018 Olympian, was just 0.02 behind in third place.

France's Margot Boch was a further half a second behind, with Australia's Ashleigh Werner in fifth. 

Park City and La Plagne are also staging monobob events next year, before the campaign concludes at Lake Placid in April.

The discipline will make its debut on the Olympic programme at the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing.
