Poland's Dawid Kubacki clinched his first overall Four Hills Tournament title after triumphing at the last stage in Bischofshofen in Austria.

The 29-year-old topped the first and second-round rankings with point totals of 151.6 and 149.3, respectively, to finish on a total of 300.9.

It moved him onto 1,131.6 points in the Four Hills Tournament standings, securing victory at the annual event that forms part of the International Ski Federation (FIS) Ski Jumping World Cup circuit.

Norway’s Marius Lindvik was the runner-up with 1,111.0 points, while Germany’s Karl Geiger came third with 1,108.4.

Geiger finished second today with 291.0 points, and the podium was rounded off by Lindvik with 289.4.

Kubacki, the reigning normal hill world champion, went into the concluding large hill HS142 event as the overall leader.

It came after he placed third in the first two legs of the Four Hills Tournament in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen - both in Germany - and second in Innsbruck in Austria.

Last year’s Four Hills Tournament champion Ryoyu Kobayashi of Japan finished fourth on 1,096.0 points.

Austria's Stefan Kraft's had to settle for fifth place with 1,086.0 points.

Kobayashi leads the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup standings with 644 points.

His nearest challenger is Geiger with 619 points, while Kraft is third with 539.

The FIS Ski Jumping World Cup season continues with the next stop on the circuit in Val di Fiemme in Italy from Friday (January 10) to Sunday (January 12).
