Russia's Maria Tolokonina won both the women's lead and speed titles on finals day at the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation Ice Climbing World Cup in Cheongsong.

The multiple world and World Cup champion captured the lead honours in South Korea with a score of 12.370 to push two home athletes into the minor medals.

Woonseon Shin ended second on 12.360 and Han Na Rai Song was third with 12.352.

In the speed, Tolokonina led a top five who all came from Russia.

She beat Ekaterina Koshcheeva in the big final for gold, with Maryam Filippova winning bronze after her small final win over Natalia Savitskaia.

The World Cup stop is the second of the season, with Tolokonina finishing second in lead and speed at the opening stop in Changchun in China.

Russia also won both men's titles today with Nikolai Kuzovlev taking the lead crown with a top in the final.

Heeyong Park of South Korea also topped in second place with Younggeon Lee, another home climber, ending third on 13.420.

Last season's overall champion Anton Nemov won the men's speed for the second World Cup in a row.

He beat Kuzovlev in the big final, with Russia's Vladislav Iurlov completing a podium sweep by winning the small final against South Korea's Myungwook Yang.
