Sitong Liu was the second Chinese winner in the sitting class, timing in at 1:57.33.

Yoshiko Tanaka of Japan won silver in 2:07.08 and Dutch skier Barbara van Bergen took bronze in 2:09.57.

In the women's visually impaired, Veronika Aigner of Austria crossed the line in 1:35.14 for gold.

Britain's Menna Fitzpatrick came second (1:48.41) and Noemi Ewa Ristau of Germany took bronze (1:48.53).
