World Para Powerlifting has launched a Dartfish TV educational channel, as part of its ongoing commitment to support athlete development and officiating proficiency.

Dartfish TV is a video-sharing platform providing unique control over content access and navigation, already used at every major World Para Powerlifting competition to film the lifts of each athlete from multiple technical angles.

These films will now be uploaded onto the educational channel, which World Para Powerlifting believe will greatly benefit lifting technique.

"We're incredibly excited to see the launch of our channel," said Jorge Moreno, World Para Powerlifting head.

"We truly believe it's going to be a game-changer for our sport, benefiting athletes, coaches and technical officials from all over the world, from the grass-roots to high performance level.

"No matter a country's size or budget, they have equal access to performance analysis."

Adjudication videos will also be integrated into face-to-face technical courses for officials and coaches.

Technical officials are set to be able to apply lift judgement skills in any session and can browse content relevant to specific scenarios for accurate and consistent decision making.

The World Para Powerlifting channel is available to all athletes, coaches and technical officials worldwide at no cost.

"I use the channel during each training session," said Egypt’s three-time Paralympic champion Sherif Osman.

"It's an amazing tool that enables me to review and continue to refine my lifting technique."
