Dawid Kubacki earned a second successive victory at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Ski Jumping World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt in Germany.

The Pole already triumphed on the HS142 hill yesterday, maintaining his form today to top the podium once again at Hochfirstschanze.

He jumped 143 and 133.5 metres to score the winning total of 283.3 points.

It was Kubacki's eighth consecutive World Cup podium finish.

"Of course it's always nice to win, but honestly I'm not completely satisfied with my second jump, it was not really good," Kubacki said.

"On the other hand, it's also good that I could win even with such a jump."

Ryoyu Kobayashi of Japan was just behind Kubacki on 283.0 points, while Timi Zajc of Slovenia was third, 11.7 points off the mark.

Kubacki will be aiming to continue his impressive performance at the next World Cup event, due to place in front of a home crowd in Zakopane on Saturday and Sunday (January 25 and 26).
