The Netherlands pipped Canada to the overall 3,000m relay crown in dramatic fashion, beating their rivals in the final race of the season to finish 720 points clear in top spot.

The Dutch team crossed in 4:10.255, with Canada second in 4:10.740 and South Korea third in 4:10.772.

Canada won the men's 5,000m relay in 6:54.542, narrowly in front of the Netherlands, while China were third.

The overall honours went to Russia, who ended just 400 points ahead of nearest challengers South Korea.
