The Oregon star reached the milestone as her third-ranked Ducks beat fourth-ranked Stanford 74-66 at Maples Pavillion in California on Monday (February 24).

No men's or women's player has achieved the feat before.

She needed nine rebounds to reach the milestone, having already amassed enough points and assists.

Ionescu ended the night with 12 rebounds, 12 assists and 21 points to also record the 26th triple-double of her NCAA career.

Nobody else is even halfway to that total, with Kyle Collinsworth's mark of 12 the next best. 

Earlier in the day, Ionescu had spoken at a memorial for Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles before flying north to play for Oregon.

"It was for him," Ionescu said of Bryant to ESPN.

"To do it on 2/24/20 is huge. 

"We had talked about it in the preseason. 

"I can't really put that into words. 

"He's looking down and really proud of me and just really happy for this moment with my team."

Ionescu now has 2,467 points, 1,041 assists and 1,003 rebounds in her collegiate career.

She is widely expected to be the first overall pick in the Women's National Basketball Association Draft later this year, but first has her sights set on winning the Pac-12 Tournament with Oregon and then the NCAA Tournament.

Last summer, Ionescu was part of the United States 3x3 basketball team that won gold at the Pan American Games in Lima.
