The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) is now accepting bids to host events from 2021 through to 2024.

Tournaments including the 53rd ISSF World Championships, which will be held in 2022, are up for grabs.

Shotgun World Championships in 2021 and 2023, alongside combined pistol and rifle World Championships to be held in the same years, are also to be bid for.

Venues can submit applications to host Junior World Championships in 2022 and 2024 too.

The deadline for applications is May 15.

An Evaluation Commission will review the applications and decisions on host venues before offering recommendations to the Executive Committee.

Final decisions on where contests are hosted are scheduled to be made in July at a meeting of the Executive Committee.

ISSF secretary general Alexander Ratner wrote that the governing body had "received a considerable number of letters that inspire confidence in the high organizational level of all ISSF competitions in the next Olympic cycle" after previously requesting Member Federations to express their initial interest in hosting events.

Grand Prix and World Cup events in the four-year cycle beginning in 2021 are also available to be bid for - both shotgun events or pistol and rifle events.
