The Chilean Olympic Committee (COCH) have announced a children's drawing competition, asking entrants to draw the greatest moments of the nation's sporting history.

Part of an initiative to create new activities for youngsters who are at home due to the COVID-19 spread, parents can upload the art to social media using the hashtag #ConcursoTeamChile.

Prizes for the best drawings include official Team Chile kits and clothing as well as other smaller winnings.

Miguel Angel Mujica, President of COCH said, "We know that there are many boys and girls in their homes and we think that in this way they can get closer to the great Chilean athletes, learn more about them and have a good time drawing.

"We all have to do our part to defeat the coronavirus and stop the contagion."

Those who participate can upload their photo on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

There have been over 468,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide with more than 1,100 coming from Chile.
