Boris Skrynnik, who has been President of the Federation of International Bandy (FIB) since 2005, has been re-elected for a further four year term.

Speaking about his re-election Skrynnik said: "I want to express my appreciation and want to thank the FIB national Member Federations for the confidence they have continued to show.

"I look forward to positive and exciting cooperation.

"FIB should be a strong and creative force to further develop the sport around the world and reach even more people who become interested in bandy, as participants or spectators."

The Congress of the FIB was due to be held in Irkutsk in Russia in conjunction with this year's World Championships but both events have been postponed to October because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In order to keep the schedule for the financial year, the FIB chose to conduct the elections for the Executive Committee by e-mail, with other items on the agenda being addressed by the Congress in October.

The election of the Executive Committee was conducted unanimously among the representatives.

The new FIB 1st vice-president is Per-Anders Gustavsson, replacing Stig Bertilsson, who resigned from his post.

All the remaining vice-presidents were re-elected for four years.

These are Arne Anderstedt, Attila Adamfi, Evgeny Epifanov, Vadim Grishpun, Stein Pedersen, Leo Segerman, Magnus Sköld and Zhu Zhiqiang.
