Tanja Gašić has become the first-ever employee of ParaVolley Europe.

The Serbian has taken on the roles of legal adviser and project manager and will work on a part-time basis.

Her job will include optimising contracts and working on European Union projects, as well as helping to coordinate tasks between ParaVolley Europe's commissions and departments.

Gašić, a former basketball player, brings a wealth of legal experience and a keen interest in volleyball.

"In a bid to deliver a more professional service to its stakeholders, ParaVolley Europe is proud to announce the hiring of their first ever employee," a statement said.

"She is interested in supporting and contributing to the advancement of the social environment she lives in.
