Hangzhou 2022 has brought its local partners together to form the Asian Games Sponsors Club.

Companies from the Chinese city and Zhejiang province which are backing the Games will join forces under the motto "collaborate change".

They will all aim to "join hands" and play to their respective strengths to ensure the success of Hangzhou 2022.

Networking between the companies is another important goal.

Geely Auto, one of eight prestige partners and the official vehicle of the Asian Games, has been named as the club's first rotating chair.

"Hangzhou 2022 is not only a sports extravaganza but an excellent platform for enterprises to present themselves," said Mao Genhong, the deputy secretary general of the Organising Committee.

"The reason we have established this Sponsors Club is that we hope to promote information-sharing, communication and cooperation between the sponsors to build a new model for sports marketing and create a win-win situation for Hangzhou 2022 and its sponsors."

Prestige partners Alibaba, Alipay, China Telecom, China Mobile, ICBC, 361sport and Zhejiang Loong Airlines are also founding members of the club.

They are joined by exclusive suppliers Robam and Monalisa.

Hangzhou 2022 is due to run between September 10 and 25 in just under two years' time.

Forty sports are on the programme and more than 10,000 athletes are expected to compete.
