The renewed deal between the two organisations will also cover the Paris 2024 Games after it was extended by four years.

World ParaVolley and Senoh, which supplies equipment in standing, sitting volleyball and beach Para volley such as nets, had signed an agreement in 2016.

Barry Couzner and Tetsuya Ozaki, the respective Presidents of World ParaVolley and Senoh, signed the extended deal remotely amid restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 crisis.

"This is great news for World ParaVolley as Senoh has committed to another four years of support, despite difficult circumstances," Couzner said.

"We are very pleased that Senoh sitting volleyball net systems will be used next year at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games as their equipment is absolutely of the highest quality - this is what Senoh is known for - quality."

Ozaki also welcomed the renewed deal with World ParaVolley.

"Since the first contract in 2016, Senoh has been working together with World ParaVolley for the improvement and expansion of Para volleyball," Ozaki said. 

"The portable system, used at the 2019 Parapan American Games in Peru, represents our collaboration. 

"Our equipment will keep on evolving for better environment of the sport and support various events in future. 

"Through the contract renewal for the coming four years, I hope to contribute to further development of Para volleyball."
