Olympic champion Perrine Laffont secured her second victory in as many days at the International Ski Federation Freestyle World Cup as Ludvig Fjällström and Matt Graham were declared joint winners of a weather-affected men's dual moguls event in Idre Fjäll.

Laffont, who topped the moguls standings yesterday, triumphed in the women's dual moguls competition to record her third consecutive World Cup win of the season.

The French star finished clear of Jaelin Kauf of the United States in the big final to maintain her dominant start to the 2020-2021 campaign.

Laffont's success saw her extend her lead the top of the overall Freestyle World Cup standings heading into the festive break.

"Making it back-to-back here in Idre is just amazing," she said.

"With the weather today it was tough, and I really thought that the event might get cancelled.

"Luckily we were able to compete which is great, and then finishing with another victory is just so nice."

Anri Kawamura of Japan claimed third place after she defeated American Tess Johnson in the small final.

The weather had threatened to impact the women's event before it worsened for the men's competition, forcing organisers to jointly award the victory to Sweden's Fjällström and Graham of Australia.

The two skiers shared the spoils after progressing to the big final, which was called off due to heavy fog.

Bradley Wilson of the US and Canadian Jordan Kober were tied for third after reaching the small final.

"The incoming fog piled up, creating even more visibility issues and making it impossible for the judges to score the runs in a fair manner," organisers said in a statement.

"Though officials and organisers delayed proceedings for as long as possible while looking for a break in the weather, eventually it became clear that the competition wouldn't be able to move forward."

Ikuma Horishima of Japan leads the men's moguls World Cup standings on 172 points.

The FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup is due to resume with an aerials competition in Yaroslavl in Russia, set to take place between January 16 and 17.
