The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) has reinstated its Technical Working Group to "strengthen the common voice" of the National Olympic Committees (NOCs).

The action has been taken to ensure that any potential concerns on behalf of the NOCs are raised with the International Olympic Committee, Olympic Games Organising Committees and other organisations.

The working group comprises two representatives from each continent - one representative from each continental association and one technical expert from an NOC in each continent.

Representatives have been selected from large and small NOCs, alongside winter and summer sport experts and Continental and Youth Games experts to ensure representation from across the NOC family.

The role of the Technical Working Group is to analyse and bring forward, through ANOC, matters of common concern for NOCs in the preparations of the Games or from debriefings following the Games in order to bring about improvements.
