The International Skating Union (ISU) is to hold all meetings and seminars online until at least the end of June because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The ISU Council took this decision during its latest online meeting.

It is likely that this will be extended beyond June 30, and the Council will next meet on June 3.

As a result, the Frankfurt Officials Seminar - scheduled for July 4 to 11 - has been postponed.

It is hoped that it will be possible to stage the event from August 22 to 29, but the ISU says an evaluation is underway to determine which aspects can take place online and what requires in-person attendance.

Examinations for first-time international judges are due to take place as part of the Frankfurt Officials Seminar.

The ISU Council also decided that 12-skater teams will be trialled at two international synchronised skating competitions next season, known as the "Elite 12" concept, after it received positive feedback on the proposal.
