Ukraine maintained their lead at the top of the medals table following the third day of competition at the World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Lima in Peru.

Oleksii Denysiuk of Ukraine narrowly won the gold medal in the men's 10-metre air pistol SH1, beating Germany's Tobias Meyer by just 0.6 points.

Denysiuk scored 237.9 to give his country its fourth gold medal of the World Cup at Las Palmas Air Base Shooting Range.

YanXiao Gong of the United States won the bronze medal ahead of Indians Rahul Jakhar and Akash.

India's Rubina Francis was the gold medal winner in the women's 10m air pistol SH1 - finishing far ahead of the rest of the field.

Francis defeated Bigaisha Makhayeva of Kazakhstan in the final round to finish with a score of 238.1 to the Kazakh's 230.4.

Hungarian Krisztina David claimed the bronze medal, while France's Gaelle Edon and Turkey's Aysel Ozgan finished fourth and fifth.

Ukraine also won gold in the mixed team SH2 10m air rifle standing, with Italy and Thailand the silver and bronze medallists respectively. 

The United States won their first gold in Lima in the mixed team 25m pistol SH1, followed by India and Russia.

Ukrain now have four gold medals and three silvers in the Peruvian capital.
