Atos July_20July 19 - Atos, the worldwide IT partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, have launched their Personal Bests campaign.

The brand awareness campaign was launched after the successful completion of the Games IT system's final technical rehearsal, involving over 200,000 hours of testing.

More than 10,000 computers, servers, network and security devices will have been configured and distributed to more than 90 Olympic venues by Atos by the start of the Games.

A unique web portal helping London 2012 recruit over 70,000 volunteers for the Games has also been created alongside an exhaustive list of all competitors taking part in the Olympic and Paralympics.

The campaign itself focuses on the essential role and meticulous preparation undertaken by Atos to deliver successfully London 2012's IT needs.

To support the campaign, key individuals responsible for delivering London 2012, from Atos chief executive Thierry Breton to London 2012 chairman Seb Coe and International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge, have made personal best pledges of their own.

Michele Hyron, Atos' chief integrator for London 2012, made her personal best pledge to "work in collaboration with all the London 2012 technology partners to ensure we are working effectively as a team to support and enable the best Olympic and Paralympic Games yet."

'Our Personal Bests' is a mantra which Atos says unites the Olympic spirit with its own vision for its clients.
