Liverpool City Council - Project Director, World Gymnastics Championships 2022 - United Kingdom

The City of Liverpool is host to the World Gymnastics Championships in 2022. The World Gymnastics Championships 2022 will be one of the largest international sporting events ever to be held in Liverpool. Held at M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool from 29 October to 6 November 2022, more than 550 gymnasts from 75 countries are expected to compete. We are looking for a freelance Project Director to lead the team as maternity cover for an initial 6 month period (with the possibility of extension and potential of Championship role in due course). This is a fantastic role for an experienced Project Director to continue the planning of the 2022 Championships, offering an opportunity to shape a unique and prestigious, world-class major international sport event.
